Job summary

ZT Systems is seeking a Principal Firmware Architect to lead the design of hyperscale server firmware and security architectures for cloud-based solutions. You will work directly with customers and partners to define strategies, drive firmware innovation, and mentor engineering teams.

Key responsibilities include collaborating on firmware architectures for compute/storage, ensuring secure design principles, and aligning with security requirements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with UEFI/BMC firmware and OS/drivers.
• Experience with DMTF Redfish and security protocols.
• Knowledge of security principles including Root of Trust.
• Strong server OS knowledge (Windows Server, Linux).
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Citrix, MS).
• Ability to learn and apply new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term hyperscale server firmware and security strategies.
• Develop, test, debug, and optimize firmware for ZT hyperscale products.
• Collaborate with customers on new firmware architectures for servers and add-on cards.
• Drive adoption of firmware development strategies internally and externally.
• Lead security reviews and drive industry standards compliance.
• Contribute firmware and security content to system architecture specifications.
• Build relationships within the firmware ecosystem to influence next-gen server design.
