Job summary

DC BLOX is seeking a Vice President of Hyperscale Delivery to lead the execution of its hyperscale development portfolio across multiple campuses and regions. This executive is accountable for safe, predictable, and scalable delivery of large-scale data center programs from preconstruction through turnover.

You will partner with design, development, procurement, operations, and customers to define the construction strategy, build organizational capability, and ensure on-schedule, on-budget

Qualifications

• 20+ years of construction leadership experience.
• 10+ years leading mission critical or hyperscale data center programs.
• Executive leadership experience managing multiple concurrent large-scale projects.
• Demonstrated responsibility for portfolios exceeding $1B in construction value.
• Proven success leading geographically distributed construction organizations.
• Experience working directly with hyperscale cloud customers.
• Strong understanding of commissioning, operations turnover, and customer acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Construction organization delivering multiple simultaneous hyperscale campuses.
• Develop organizational capability, succession planning, and leadership development for regional leadership teams.
• Establish operating model, governance, and performance standards for construction across projects.
• Drive safety, quality, cost control, and continuous improvement across portfolio.
• Own executive responsibility for delivery of hyperscale construction programs from Notice to Proceed through Final Completion.
• Balance resources across campuses and regions to maintain predictable delivery.
• Identify portfolio risks early and implement mitigation strategies before impacting commitments.
• Partner with executive leadership to set long-term construction strategy and align with growth objectives.
• Provide input into capital planning, budgeting, staffing forecasts, and execution capacity.
• Support due diligence for new markets and power procurement.
• Establish relationships with strategic General Contractors and oversee procurement strategies.
• Lead executive-level reviews with customers and translate commitments into delivery plans.
• Develop enterprise standards for construction execution and digital delivery tools.
• Establish KPIs for portfolio health, predictability, and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in contract strategy and major negotiations.
• Ensure quality and reliability in hyperscale delivery through governance and controls.
