Zusammenfassung

Nox Group is seeking a Project Engineer to support data center and mission-critical construction projects as a General Contractor in hyperscale environments.

The role emphasizes coordinating with project leadership, mentoring Field Engineers, and driving cost management, procurement, and schedule forecasting to deliver complex projects on time and within scope. A safety-conscious mindset and strong communication are essential as is collaboration with owners and trade partners.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant construction experience as a Field Engineer, Field Superintendent, or similar role.
• Extensive relative construction experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Demonstrated ability to interface and communicate effectively with others.

Aufgaben

• Coordinates directly with the Project Manager and Project Superintendent to support project success, including fostering a positive safety and quality culture
• Mentors and develops Field Engineers
• Champions cost management, forecasting and control, including issuance of purchase orders and change orders
• Champions procurement of all materials and equipment within the assigned scope, including submittals and RFIs
• Manages the procurement schedule and participates in overall project schedule development and forecasting
• Assists the Project Manager with resolving commercial matters with owners, subcontractors and suppliers, including pricing owner change orders
• Ensures Field Engineer possesses the most current project documents (drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs)
• Champions construction permit applications and renewals
• Participates in daily and weekly project meetings and generates weekly production reports
• Generates monthly progress reports for the Project Manager’s review and assists with owner payment applications
• Develops and preserves positive business relationships with owners, clients, engineers and trade partners while ensuring contractual compliance
