Job summary

Volkert Inc. is recruiting a Senior Project Manager to drive data center programs in the Gulf Region.

You will oversee full lifecycle projects from planning through handover with emphasis on MEP coordination, modular methods, and regulatory compliance in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, or Texas. Required: bachelor’s in construction management or engineering, 10+ years in commercial construction with 5 in mission critical/data centers, and licensure familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction/project management or engineering.
• 10+ years of commercial construction, 5 years in Mission Critical/Data Center envs.
• Knowledge of Louisiana licensure requirements and regulatory permits.

Responsibilities

• Direct planning and execution of data center builds with compressed timelines.
• Develop and manage budgets, costs, and integrated schedules across phases.
• Coordinate design, permitting, site development, and construction activities.
• Lead procurement cycles and manage long-lead equipment coordination.
• Serve as technical liaison among engineering, design, construction, utilities, and stakeholders.
