Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Construction MEP Project Manager for a Spartanburg, SC data center project. This on-site role focuses on leading MEP coordination, commissioning, and turnover of mission-critical systems with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and reliability.

You will manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection installations, coordinating with owners, designers, and contractors to ensure a successful project delivery within scope and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Building Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years managing construction projects with complex MEP systems.
• Minimum 5 years on mission-critical, industrial, or data center projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead all MEP aspects of hyperscale data center projects from design through turnover and commissioning.
• Coordinate with owners, design teams, contractors, vendors, and utilities to meet schedule and budget.
• Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change orders; monitor safety, quality, and performance.
