Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking an Principal Consultant to lead fiber infrastructure projects in hyperscale data centers. You will act as a senior technical and client-facing SME, guiding design, deployment, testing, and remediation activities.

The role requires BICSI DCDC and RCDD certifications, strong project leadership, and the ability to manage multiple engagements with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of hands-on fiber infrastructure experience in hyperscale data centers.
• Ability to lead technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across complex fiber environments.
• Experience developing standards, best practices, installation procedures, testing methodologies, and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to deliver services aligned with company objectives and values.
• Identify and contact potential clients for new engagements and build relationships for repeat business.
• Maintain frequent client communication, visit sites, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Define project scope, budget, and timelines with clients; develop SOWs and reports as needed.
• Negotiate terms with clients and drive project outcomes.
• Provide expert guidance for fiber design, deployment, testing, and QA in large-scale centers.
• Lead and review fiber designs, BOMs, port maps, and test documentation for accuracy.
• Support design reviews, workshops, proposals, estimating, and solution recommendations.
