Job summary

Aligned Data Centers is seeking an experienced Data Center Critical Facilities Technician to join our Phoenix, AZ team. You will maintain and troubleshoot essential electrical and mechanical systems in a high‑demand data center environment.

You will work 12‑hour shifts, collaborate with contractors, and ensure uptime for mission critical infrastructure. This permanent onsite role offers strong benefits, growth opportunities, and a clear path in data center operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years experience supporting critical electrical or mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to emergencies.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non-critical facility equipment.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, generators, temperature controls, fire detection and suppression systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Support electrical operations, maintenance programs, and energy management within a critical facilities environment.
• Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities performed by contractors and vendors.
• Complete preventive and corrective maintenance work orders and document activities in a CMMS.
