Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Cost Manager to lead comprehensive cost control on complex construction projects in Minneapolis. You will drive budget development, cost planning, and financial reporting to support strategic decisions and project success.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with Procore/Smartsheet, and a proven ability to manage subcontractor changes and cash flow across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience in cost management for large-scale construction.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Procore and Smartsheet proficiency.
• Ability to mentor a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle cost management from concept through completion.
• Develop accurate project budgets reflecting design scope and contracts.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and risk assessments for stakeholders.
• Review subcontractor change orders and ensure contractual alignment.
• Create cash flow forecasts and tender documentation.
