Job summary

A prominent construction firm is looking for a Commissioning Engineer responsible for overseeing the commissioning process for large mission-critical constructions. This role includes managing commissioning execution, coordinating with various trades and teams, and ensuring safety and quality throughout the construction and turnover phases. The ideal candidate should have hyperscale data center experience, a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, and excellent communication skills. This is a contract role with travel required based on site specifications.

Qualifications

• Must have hyperscale data center experience taking a project from L1-L5.
• Expertise in power, medium voltage, switchgear, UPS, generators, and BAS.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical and electrical commissioning execution.
• Coordinate with electrical and mechanical trades and project teams.
• Monitor deficiencies and oversee retesting processes.
• Uphold safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Skills

Commissioning experience in mission-critical/data centers

Strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
