A prominent construction firm is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to oversee the execution of large data center projects. In this role, you will manage the commissioning process, ensuring that systems function as intended and coordinating with various stakeholders. Candidates must have experience in hyperscale data centers, a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, and excellent documentation skills. The position offers a competitive hourly rate with travel required based on project specifications.

Qualifications

• Must have hyperscale data center experience taking a project from L1-L5.
• Proficient in onsite work environments, capable of navigating fast-paced schedules.
• Expertise in medium voltage systems, switchgear, UPS, and generators advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical and electrical commissioning execution.
• Coordinate with electrical and mechanical trades and project teams.
• Monitor deficiencies and oversee retesting processes.

Skills

Commissioning experience in mission-critical/data centers

Strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

Excellent documentation and communication skills
