Qualifications

• Must have current clinical licensure or credentialing as EMT, PARAMEDIC, LPN, RN or RESPIRATORY THERAPIST
• BLS certification preferred
• Up to date knowledge of hyperbaric safety codes
• Ability to take initiative and work well in a team and flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor hyperbaric chambers ensuring patient safety during oxygen therapy
• Perform daily maintenance and checks on chamber systems and safety equipment
• Open procedures: verify oxygen supply and chamber readiness at shift start
• Record patient medical history, treatment details and session results
• Perform pre-dive vitals and BG tests for diabetic patients
• Follow emergency protocols and know locations of safety procedures
• Ensure proper shutdown of chambers and oxygen at end of day
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and professional demeanor
• Comply with HIPAA/privacy rules and interact professionally with patients and staff
• Support facility accreditation activities and maintain required competencies
