Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Hyperbaric Tech to join Haywood Regional Medical Center. The role supports hyperbaric therapy, patient prep, and chamber operations in a busy care setting.

Strong documentation and safety focus are essential as you contribute to high-quality patient care. Typically Mon-Fri 8a-5p in a hospital environment, with duties including monitoring patients, maintaining records, and participating in safety and accreditation activities.

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent; hyperbaric course within 90 days of hire.
• Licenses: CNA / CMA / RMA or other allied healthcare certifications eligible.
• Certifications: American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Experience: healthcare setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate hyperbaric chamber and monitor patient status during treatment.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation in EMR.
• Assist in patient preparation and education related to hyperbaric therapy.
• Ensure safety of patients and staff, acting as facility safety officer for HBO area.
• Perform routine chamber checks and maintenance per Healogics guidelines.
• Coordinate with front office for scheduling, pre-registration, and patient communication.
