Job summary

Physicians Regional Healthcare System seeks a Hyperbaric Technician to deliver hyperbaric oxygen therapy safely and effectively under physician supervision. You will operate chambers, monitor patients, document sessions, and support wound care as needed within a collaborative clinical team.

The role emphasizes strict safety adherence, accurate record-keeping, and timely intervention for any complications. BLS is required and CHT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Hyperbaric Technician training program.
• 0–1 year of training or experience in basic hyperbaric chamber.
• 1–2 years of experience as a hyperbaric technician or related role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates, monitors, and maintains hyperbaric chambers and equipment.
• Administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy per physician's protocol.
• Pre-treatment assessments and review of patient histories.
• Adheres to safety protocols and decompression procedures.
• Monitors patients during therapy and addresses issues promptly.
• Maintains accurate medical records of therapy sessions and tests.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team for patient care.
• Escalates safety, quality, or operational concerns to management.
