Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital in Conyers, GA, seeks a Hyperbaric Tech (PRN, Days) to join the clinical team. You will administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and assist with diagnostic testing under the supervision of a hyperbaric provider.

The role requires at least two years in healthcare, certifications in BLS and hyperbaric-related fields, and readiness to complete a 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training within six months of hire. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Respiratory Therapy
• Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN)
• Emergency Medical Technology
• Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience in healthcare required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician
• Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN)
• Emergency Medical Technician
• Certified Hyperbaric Technologist
• Other CHT qualifying certification Wound, Hyperbaric, or critical care experience is preferred.

Piedmont Rockdale is a 161-bed, acute care, not-for-profit community hospital in Conyers that has provided compassionate, patient-centered care to Rockdale County and surrounding communities since 1954. We offer 24-hour emergency care, plus most major medical, surgical and diagnostic services.

Responsibilities:

Administer safe and effective hyperbaric oxygen therapy and assist with diagnostic testing to patients under the supervision of a hyperbaric provider. All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered and reviewed by the hyperbaric provider. Provides daily maintenance and safety checks prior to daily operations.
