Job summary

Healogics in Florida is seeking a Hyperbaric Technician to administer and monitor hyperbaric oxygen therapy for patients as prescribed by the Hyperbaric Provider. You will operate the hyperbaric chamber, ensure patient safety, document treatments, and support wound care visits.

The role requires BLS/CPR certification, a healthcare license as applicable, and attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical environment. We value teamwork and adherence to CMS and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.
• Minimum two years’ experience in healthcare preferred; wound or critical care preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and patient records.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, educates and orients patients about Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
• Administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy as prescribed and monitors patient responses.
• Makes data entries for daily hyperbaric treatments and wound care visits; maintains patient records.
• Operates and maintains hyperbaric chamber and oxygen systems.
• Assists in vein clinic after training; participates in safety drills.
• Performs other duties as required.
