Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an LPN for a Hyperbaric unit in a hospital setting in Frederick, MD. The role requires UHMS-approved 40-hour hyperbaric training and at least 2 years of HBO experience. You will provide care in a 2:1 patient ratio and work a Monday–Friday day shift.

Qualifications

• MD or LPN license required at time of consideration.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• UHMS 40-hour Hyperbaric Training completed.
• Minimum 2 years HBO experience.
• Community hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Hyperbaric department of a hospital providing hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) and wound care services
• Care for patients with conditions requiring HBOT under a 2:1 patient ratio
• Operate hyperbaric chambers and ancillary equipment per UHMS and NFPA safety guidelines
• Provide preventive and supportive wound care in conjunction with medical staff
• Scheduled Monday through Friday, day shift (7:30a-4p), with no weekends
