Smile Dental Group in a private practice setting is seeking a Dental Hygienist to provide comprehensive patient care and education. The role focuses on delivering periodontal services, patient education, and collaboration with the Dentist to develop treatment plans. The clinic values patient-centered care in a welcoming environment.

Formación

• Active dental hygiene license in good standing with the State Dental Board.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and team.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and dental management software.

Responsabilidades

• Perform periodontal procedures following state dental board requirements.
• Educate patients on preventing and managing periodontal disease and overall oral health.
• Document periodontal findings and collaborate with Dentist to plan treatment.
• Collaborate with team to schedule and maintain an exceptional patient experience.

Our private (not corporate) practice is seeking a Dental Hygienist that shares our passion for patient care and education, as well as creating a welcoming environment.

Schedule:

We are a family focused team and our schedule reflects that. Hygienists will enjoy a 2 day work schedule from 9:00-4:00 and no weekends!

What you’ll do as a Hygienist:

• Perform periodontal procedures in a manner that is best for the patient in accordance with all state dental board requirements
• Educate patients on strategies to prevent, diagnose, and treat periodontal disease as well as maintaining their oral health. Discuss the links between periodontal conditions and overall systemic health
• Chart conditions of periodontal disease for collaboration with the Dentist to develop the appropriate treatment plan
• Work collaboratively with the team on scheduling, ensuring an exceptional patient experience, and maintaining the condition of the practice and equipment
