Job summary

Smile Dental Group, a private practice, is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality patient care and education. You will work in a patient-centered environment, focusing on prevention and periodontal health while collaborating with the Dentist on treatment planning.

The role offers a 4-day work week, no weekend shifts, and a supportive team. Benefits include health insurance stipends, CE reimbursement, and competitive compensation with incentive opportunities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both the team and patients

Responsibilities

• Perform periodontal procedures in a manner that is best for the patient in accordance with all state dental board requirements
• Educate patients on strategies to prevent, diagnose, and treat periodontal disease as well as maintaining their oral health
• Chart conditions of periodontal disease for collaboration with the Dentist to develop the appropriate treatment plan
• Work collaboratively with the team on scheduling, ensuring an exceptional patient experience, and maintaining the condition of the practice and equipment

Schedule

We are a family focused team and our schedule reflects that. Hygienists will enjoy a 4 day work schedule with patients from 9:00-4:00 and no weekends!

What you’ll do as a Hygienist:

• Perform periodontal procedures in a manner that is best for the patient in accordance with all state dental board requirements

• Educate patients on strategies to prevent, diagnose, and treat periodontal disease as well as maintaining their oral health. Discuss the links between periodontal conditions and overall systemic health

• Chart conditions of periodontal disease for collaboration with the Dentist to develop the appropriate treatment plan

• Work collaboratively with the team on scheduling, ensuring an exceptional patient experience, and maintaining the condition of the practice and equipment
