Job description

Clark and Diversey (Dentologie) dental office is seeking a kind and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join the team! We are located at 617 W Diversey Pkwy, Chicago, IL 60614, close to Trader Joe's and Stan's Donuts.

The Clark and Diversey office uses Dentrix Ascend as the DPMS, the latest model of iTero scanners, Piezo scalers, intraoral cameras, Dexis sensors, and Gemini Diode lasers. Clark and Diversey uses top-end Hu Friedy instruments with an on-site Nordent sharpening machine.

As a full-time member of our hygiene team, you can expect:

• Day 1 support from the Lead Hygienist in early career training with continued mentorship and growth opportunities at Dentologie.
• Competitive compensation: $50-$57/hr based on experience.
• $3,500 sign-on bonus*
• Monthly bonus plan: earn up to an additional $1,000 per month (extra $7/hr)!

Schedule:

• Monday: 7:30am-2:30pm
• Tuesday: 1:30pm-8:30pm
• Wednesday: 7:30am-2:30pm
• Thursday: 1:30pm-8:30pm
• Friday: 7:30am-3:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in all dental and periodontal services within your licensure.
• Assist the dentist chairside during examinations.
• Deliver a 10-star patient experience.
• Contribute positively to our engaging company culture.
• Prepare instruments and materials for procedures.
• Make patients comfortable in the dental chair.
• Instruct patients on pre- and post-operative care and provide oral health education.
• Proficiently obtain dental radiographs and intra-oral scans/photos.
• Keep treatment records, including charting restorations, periodontal status, and planned treatments.
• Follow infection control protocols by sterilizing instruments and equipment.

Education and Experience:

• Registered Dental Hygiene degree from an accredited program.
• Active Illinois Dental Hygiene license.
• Local Anesthesia certification.
