Hourly Pay Range:

$28.47 - $42.71 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Clinical Dietitian - Days
• Location: Arlington Heights, IL
• Full Time - 30 hours/week
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 3:00pm, rotating weekends
• Required Travel: No

A Brief Overview:

The Clinical Dietitian provides nutritional services and medical nutrition therapy aligned with patients' medical program goals. The primary responsibilities include developing and implementing nutritional services and medical nutrition therapy to support wellness objectives and guide patient care.

What you will do:

• Design and develop consumer nutrition, health, and wellness education programs targeting current user groups, including data collection on risk indicators. Establish evaluation criteria for effectiveness.
• Perform nutritional, health, and wellness screening and assessment.
• Manage ongoing nutritional care plans based on each patient's developmental needs.
• Prepare and complete patient records and documentation according to licensure guidelines.
• Contribute to nutrition education and in-service training for patients and staff as required.
• Document the nutrition care plan, including assessment, diagnosis, implementation, and progress, in the patient's medical record.
• Ensure proper use of patient protected health information and utilize electronic medical records for scheduling and monitoring.

What you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition (Required)
• 1 Year clinical dietitian experience (Preferred)
• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification from the Commission on Dietetics Registration (Required)
• Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) certification from the Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education (Required)
• AHA Heartsaver CPR certification (Preferred)
