Job summary

Citron Hygiene in Illinois is seeking a Hygiene Technician who will service client washrooms, drive to client sites, and provide a best-in-class delivery and collection service. You will ensure areas are cleaned and stocked and maintain strong customer relations.

You will maintain and replace equipment, manage inventory for select customers, document daily routes, and act as an ambassador for the Citron Hygiene brand while working independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hygiene and washroom products to customers.
• Maintain and service equipment, including soap dispensers and air care cartridges.
• Manage inventory levels for assigned customers.
• Input work activities using company smartphone.
• Act as an ambassador for the Citron Hygiene brand.
• Track routes and report to the manager daily.
• Ensure all equipment at sites is functioning properly.
• Meet customer needs and document special requests.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Role Profile

Reporting directly to the Service Manager or his/her delegate, a Hygiene Technician plays a critical role in servicing our customers washrooms. They will work independently, as well as part of a team, and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service to our customers.

A Hygiene Technician is responsible for service duties which include, but are not limited to, driving to client site(s) to provide a ‘best in class’ delivery and collection service of sanitary disposal units, washroom products such as soap dispensers, air care and more. Ensuring that the washroom or facility has been serviced to an exemplary standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver hygiene and washroom products to customers.
• Maintain and service equipment. This includes replacing batteries, refilling soap and sanitizer dispensers, replacing air care cartridges and liners of bins.
• Maintain feminine hygiene receptacles, replace bin liners, sanitize and dispose of waste.
• Manage inventory levels for certain customers purchasing consumable products.
• Ensure all equipment at customer sites are functioning properly.
• Track and analyze your work routes with the manager at the end of each day.
• Meet the specific needs of customers in the field and document special requests.
• Input all work activities in the smartphone device provided to you by the Company.
• Act as an ambassador for the Citron Hygiene brand.
• Other duties as required.

Departmental/Organisational Impact

Internal: Ongoing contact with personnel at all levels within Citron – especially but not limited to: - regional and strategic team members in sales, operations, finance and sales support functions, Team leaders, Sales leadership, Sales Operations team members.

External: Visiting client services to provide company services.

Essential

• Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
• Good driving record

• High school degree or equivalent

Desirable

• Previous experience in the hygiene service industry
• Previous driving experience
