Job summary

Absolute Dental is looking for a Hygiene Dental Assistant in the Reno, NV area. You will work closely with hygienists to ensure a smooth, comfortable patient experience and help keep the hygiene schedule running efficiently.

We offer a starting pay of $18+/hour (depends on experience) with monthly bonus opportunities and a $750 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Training is available for the right person with a great attitude and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but not required.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a busy dental office.

Responsibilities

Preparing rooms for hygiene appointments.
Assisting with patient care and comfort.
Sterilizing instruments and following infection control standards.
Supporting charting and documentation as needed.
Helping with scheduling flow and patient transitions.
Turning over rooms between patients.
Supporting hygienists and team members throughout the day.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.

About the Role

As a Hygiene Dental Assistant, you’ll work closely with hygienists and the dental team to help create a smooth, comfortable, and positive experience for every patient. You’ll help keep the hygiene schedule running efficiently while supporting patient care and office flow.
