Position Summary:

We are seeking a Hygiene Coordinator to manage and schedule hygiene appointments, coordinate with patients and staff, and maintain an efficient workflow within the hygiene department.

What we offer:
  • $19-$28 hourly, based on experience
  • Monday - Friday schedule
  • Medical insurance (after 2 months)

Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling: Create and manage the hygiene schedule, optimize time, and accommodate patient preferences.
  • Communication: Contact patients to schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
  • Recall System: Maintain a recall system to ensure regular appointments.
  • Patient Records: Update and maintain accurate patient records, including appointments and insurance info.
  • Patient Education: Help patients understand their treatment plans and provide basic dental hygiene info.
  • Insurance Coordination: Verify coverage and assist with claims.
Administrative Tasks:
  • Workflow Coordination: Ensure efficient operation within the hygiene department.
  • Room Preparation: Clean, stock, and prepare treatment rooms.
  • Patient Greeting: Welcome and seat patients upon arrival.
  • Chart Management: Maintain and update patient charts.
  • X-ray Processing: Take, process, and mount x-rays.
Skills and Qualifications:

  • Eaglesoft experience (a plus)
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish (a plus)
