Neibauer Dental Care in Waldorf is seeking a Hygiene Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with little to no dental experience, as we offer extensive on-the-job training and ongoing development opportunities. You will work alongside our skilled hygiene providers to deliver excellent patient care in a supportive environment focused on learning and teamwork.

Role Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and ensure their comfort while providing education throughout their treatment.
• Review patient health histories for quality care.
• Assist hygienists during procedures, following state dental practice laws.
• Prepare treatment rooms, stock supplies, and use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Follow safety protocols in line with OSHA & CDC guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; additional certification may be required based on state laws.
• Team-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
• Compliance with HIPAA and data protection policies.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform duties with or without accommodations.
• Prolonged sitting and standing.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Availability for periodic training sessions.
• TB test required prior to employment, except in FL & TN.
