Tender Dental Care is looking for a Hygiene Assistant to join our team.

Monday-Friday 7:30a-5:00p.

This is a great opportunity for new dental assistant graduates with radiology certification to gain experience and grow within a national organization.

Our on-the-job training provides extensive hands-on dental experience and helps develop your assisting skills, with ongoing development and future career path opportunities. In this role, you will work alongside our hygiene providers to deliver excellent patient care.

Role Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, ensuring comfort and providing education.
• Review patient health histories for quality care.
• Support hygienists during procedures, adhering to state dental practice laws.
• Prepare treatment rooms, restock supplies, and maintain safety protocols.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Partner with team to follow office systems and improve workflow.

Minimum Qualifications

• On-the-job training and additional certification as required by state.
• High school diploma or GED.
• X-Ray Certification.
• Team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Compliance with HIPAA and data protection standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform duties with or without accommodations.
• Prolonged sitting and standing.
• Lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
• Attend periodic training sessions.
• TB test required prior to employment, except in FL & TN.
