Job summary

Union Dental Group LLC in Union, SC is seeking a full-time Hygiene Assistant to join a close-knit team assisting an experienced hygienist. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, professional demeanor with doctors and patients, and adherence to OSHA standards.

Hours are Mon-Wed 8:00-5:00, Thu 8:00-3:00, and Fri once per month; benefits include PTO, holiday pay, and 401k options. Pay will be discussed with applicants based on knowledge and experience.

Qualifications

• Certified dental assistant with 1 year of experience preferred.
• SC X-ray certified and able to take diagnostic quality X-rays.
• CPR certification required.
• Excellent patient communication, both verbal and written.
• Professional interaction with doctor and patient.
• Fully competent in all dental assisting tasks with OSHA compliance.
• Hardworking and dependable with a team-oriented attitude.
• Eaglesoft experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the hygienist during procedures and patient care.
• Maintain sterilization, OSHA compliance, and practice safety protocols.
• Support front-line duties and communicate with patients.

What we need from you?

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

• -certified dental assistant; 1-year minimum experience highly preferred
• -SC x-ray certified
• -ability to take diagnostic quality x-rays
