Chesley Family Dental is looking for a Hygiene Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with little to no dental experience, as we provide extensive on-the-job training to develop your skills and offer career growth opportunities. You will work alongside our experienced hygiene providers to deliver excellent patient care.

Qualifications

Schedule

• Monday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
• Tuesday 10:30 am - 7:30 pm
• Wednesday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
• Thursday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and ensure their comfort.
• Review patient health histories.
• Assist hygienists with procedures.

• Follow safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

• On-the-job training and certification as needed based on state laws.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to handle PHI securely and complete HIPAA training.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform duties with or without accommodations.
• Prolonged sitting and standing.
• Lift up to 45 pounds.
• Availability for periodic training sessions.
• TB test required prior to employment (except in FL & TN).
