Dr. C Family Dentistry - Valley is seeking a Hygiene Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is comfortable working chairside, values efficiency, and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a team-oriented environment.

The Hygiene Assistant assists the hygienist chairside, handles instrument sterilization, radiographs, and patient education, while maintaining a clean operatory and supporting front office duties as needed.

Competenze

• X-ray certification required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in dental hygiene assistance and sterilization protocols.

Mansioni

• Assist the hygienist chairside during a variety of procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Take digital radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral images.
• Record and update patient medical histories and clinical notes accurately.
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care.
• Maintain operatory cleanliness and organization.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed.
• Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling and patient communication.

Compensation: $18.00 - $26.00 / hour

Description

Dr. C Family Dentistry - Valley is seeking a skilled and dependable Hygiene Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is comfortable working chairside, values efficiency, and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a team-oriented environment.

Schedule

Wednesday: 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Thursday: 6:30 AM - 8:00 PM, Friday: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, and Saturday: 7:30 AM - 1:30 PM (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Saturdays of each month)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the hygienist chairside during a variety of procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories in accordance with infection control protocols
• Take digital radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral images
• Record and update patient medical histories and clinical notes accurately
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
