Job summary

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry in Greenville, SC is seeking a dependable Hygiene Assistant to support the hygienist, take digital X-rays, record health histories, and maintain clinical workflow in a fast-paced, growth-focused practice.

You will join a collaborative team, adhere to sterilization protocols, schedule appointments, and assist with patient education. Requirements include DA II training, 1-3 years' experience, NC X-ray certification, CPR, and Denticon knowledge.

Qualifications

• DA II training or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience assisting hygiene
• NC X-ray Certification
• Coronal Polishing Certificate
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
• Ability to clearly explain treatment plans and insurance information
• Knowledge of Denticon is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist the hygienist daily with diverse workflow
• Take digital X-rays
• Collect and record patient health histories and vital signs
• Follow sterilization protocols for operatory turnover and set up
• Support patient education and post-appointment instructions
• Maintain instruments, equipment, and clinical supplies
