Dr. Blankenship in Alpharetta, GA is seeking an experienced Hygiene Assistant to join a fast-paced dental team. This full-time, on-site role supports both doctor and hygiene schedules and focuses on delivering high-quality patient care in a safe, caring environment.

The ideal candidate has strong chairside assisting skills, can take quality X-rays, manage room turnover, and uphold infection control. Pediatric experience is a plus, familiarity with Dentrix is preferred, and compensation is hourly

Responsibilities

• Assisting the doctor and hygienist chairside during procedures.

• Reviewing patient needs and helping create a positive patient experience.

Seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Hygiene Assistant to join our growing dental team. This is an immediate hire opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and is committed to providing excellent care.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assisting skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to support both doctor and hygiene schedules as needed.

Requirements:

• Pediatric experience is a plus. This position will occasionally work with our pediatric patients.
• Must be reliable, professional, and team-oriented
• Strong chairside assisting skills
• Ability to take quality X-rays
• Experience with sterilization, room turnover, and infection control protocols
• Comfortable assisting with patient flow, seating patients, and preparing rooms
• Ability to support hygiene appointments
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Must be organized and able to multitask in a busy dental office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software

Compensation:

• Hourly pay based on experience (21-23/hr)
Full time benefits include medical, vision, dental, disability, uniform allowance, time off

Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday 7:45-5:00
• Friday when needed 7:45-2:00
