Job summary

Dentistry 4 Kids in Akron, Ohio is seeking a Dental Hygiene Assistant to support our pediatric dental team. You will assist with hygiene care, set up and breakdown rooms, perform charting, take x-rays, educate patients, and ensure sterilization.

Required X-ray Certification and CPR; Coronal Polishing certificate a plus. This part-time role runs 8a–5p, with benefits including PTO, holidays, and medical/dental/vision coverage as well as HSA, FSA, 401K and disability insurance.

Qualifications

• X-ray Certification is required.
• CPR Certification is required.
• Coronal Polishing certificate is a plus.
• Working knowledge of dental digital charting.
• Ability to multi-task and follow directions.
• Reliable team player with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hygiene care including room setup and breakdown.
• Perform charting and take X-rays.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and oral hygiene.
