Job summary

Pro-Vac in Texas seeks an experienced Hydrovac Truck Operator to join our fleet. You will drive and operate Eductor/Vacuum/Pump trucks, travel to sites, and deliver safe, efficient subsurface services to communities.

We offer comprehensive training, on-call scheduling, and a benefits package including medical coverage, 401k, PTO, and PPE purchase assistance. The role requires CDL with Tanker and Air Brake endorsements, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Licensed Class A or B CDL with Tanker and Air Brake endorsements.
• Experience in line cleaning and CCTV preferred.
• Jetter/Combo experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Must pass drug, MVR and background screenings.
• Physically able to lift 80 lbs and perform daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate Eductor/Vacuum/Pump trucks safely.
• Travel to sites and build client relationships.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain clean, organized job sites and workspaces.
• Provide excellent customer service and professionalism.

• Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs; frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and working at heights
• Standing and moving for extended periods; operating vehicles across varied terrain
• Perceiving auditory safety signals, verbal warnings, and radio communications in active field environments
• Wearing all required PPE including OSHA-compliant respirators, hearing protection, eye protection, gloves, and safety footwear
• Reading site documentation and accurately operating equipment controls
• Working outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and wet conditions
• Maintaining situational awareness around active traffic, heavy machinery, and underground utilities
• Working in confined spaces per applicable safety protocols
