Job summary

Badger Infrastructure Solutions seeks a Hydrovac Operator to operate hydrovac equipment, use high-pressure water and vacuum systems, and work on diverse construction sites in Texas. You’ll be part of essential infrastructure work, ensuring safety and efficiency while supporting utility discoveries and dig assessments.

Candidates should hold a valid CDL (Class A or B), OSHA 10, and be prepared for variable shifts, travel up to 25%, and physical work in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL (Class A or B)
• CPR/First Aid, Fall Protection and OSHA 10 certification (preferred)
• Experience driving a manual transmission (10-18 speed) without automatic restrictions (preferred)
• Ability to work variable shifts with extended hours
• Must be willing to travel up to 25%
• Must be able to lift, push, pull 50+ pounds and have the stamina for manual labor in varying weather
• Prior hydrovac equipment operations or related industrial experience preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Operate hydrovac equipment and perform hydrovac duties in various environments, including confined spaces
• Drive hydrovac trucks (10-15% of total work time)
• Attend safety meetings
• Perform routine inspections and minor repairs of hydrovac equipment
• Prepare work areas by setting up safety measures and addressing hazards
• Document and report Badger, Federal, State, and customer paperwork accurately and efficiently
