Job summary

SUSCO Construction Services LLC is seeking an experienced Hydrovac Operator in Ohio to support HDD crews by potholing and daylighting utilities before drilling. Must have a valid Class A/B CDL with Tanker (N) endorsement and proven hydrovac experience.

Travel approximately 15–25% to project sites across the region. Responsibilities include safe operation, equipment maintenance, DOT inspections, and coordination with drillers, locators, and inspectors.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with Tanker (N) endorsement.
• Proven hydrovac/vacuum excavation operating experience.
• Ability to safely work around existing underground utilities and perform inspections.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate hydrovac/vacuum excavation equipment.
• Perform potholing and daylighting to expose utilities.
• Support HDD bore crews by verifying utility locations and depths.
• Safely excavate around utilities using high-pressure water and vac systems.
• Complete required DOT inspections and daily reports.
