Job summary

Badger Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Hydrovac Operator in East Haven, CT. You will use high-pressure water and vacuum systems to dig precisely, uncover utilities, and contribute to essential infrastructure projects.

Union wages and benefits will be discussed with the Branch Manager, with starting pay at $48.74 per hour. Qualifications include a valid CDL (A or B), CPR/First Aid, Fall Protection and OSHA 10 (preferred), plus the ability to travel up to 25% and lift 50+ pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A or B CDL.
• CPR/First Aid, Fall Protection and OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
• Experience driving a manual transmission (10-18 speed) without automatic restrictions (preferred).
• Ability to work variable shifts with extended hours.
• Must be willing to travel up to 25%.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull 50+ pounds and have the physical stamina for manual labor in varying weather conditions.
• Prior hydrovac equipment operations or related industrial experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydrovac equipment using high-pressure water and vacuum for digging and utility uncovering.
• Contribute to construction projects with precise excavation and safe work practices.
• Maintain equipment and report issues to supervisor.
• Support safety-focused teamwork in field operations.
