Job summary

Badger Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Hydrovac Operator in Maine. You will operate hydrovac equipment using high‑pressure water and vacuum systems to dig precisely, uncover utilities, and support various construction projects.

The role emphasizes safety and efficient, accurate excavation in essential infrastructure work. The position requires a valid CDL (Class A or B), plus CPR/First Aid and OSHA 10 preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required (Class A or B).
• CPR/First Aid, Fall Protection and OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Experience driving a manual transmission (10–18 speed) preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds and perform manual labor in varying weather conditions.
• Prior hydrovac equipment operations or related industrial experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydrovac equipment using high‑pressure water and vacuum systems to dig precisely and efficiently.

Salary: Union wages and benefits to be discussed directly with the Branch Manager with starting rate of $31.61/hour.

• Ability to work variable shifts with extended hours
• Must be willing to travel up to 25%
• Must be able to lift, push, pull 50+ pounds and have the physical stamina for manual labor in varying weather conditions
• Prior hydrovac equipment operations or related industrial experience preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age
