Big Greens is seeking an experienced Seeding / HydroSeeding Crew Lead for our Environmental line of service in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on leading crews, managing equipment, and ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality seeding work.

Starting pay ranges between $26 and $34 per hour, with experience considered. The position offers opportunities for advancement and benefits, including health coverage and per diem where applicable.

Qualifications

• Clean driver's license required; Class A CDL preferred.
• Represents Big Greens professionally at all times.
• Keeps Operations Manager informed of client concerns.
• Maintains a positive, responsive, and flexible attitude.
• Works with crew to meet projected hours and budgets on projects.
• Prepares and secures materials, tools, and equipment.
• Operates track loaders and tractors safely.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintains safe working conditions in the field.
• Keeps equipment, truck, trailer, and job site clean.
• Follows company policies and procedures.
• Assists with soil preparation for seed using heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead seeding/hydroseeding crews on assigned projects.
• Oversee equipment usage and crew productivity to meet deadlines.
• Ensure safety and quality in every operation.
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager on project progress and issues.
