Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Hydropower EIT in Northern California to join our Hydropower Engineering team. You will gain hands-on exposure to hydropower assets, dam safety, and water infrastructure modernization, working under experienced engineers.

You will develop technical skills through project work, field assignments, and mentorship, assisting with drawings, analyses, cost estimates, and documentation while contributing to reliable and sustainable power systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Engineer In Training (EIT) certification required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical skills through project work, field assignments, and mentorship.
• Support field inspections, site observations, condition assessments, and drawing verification.
• Assist with engineering drawings using Autodesk or Bentley products.
• Contribute to analyses, calculations, cost estimates, and design documentation under supervision.
• Support inspection reports and project documentation with guidance from engineers.
