Job summary

ENCON Heating & A/C is seeking a senior HVAC technician in Connecticut to install geothermal, hydronic, radiant heating systems, boilers, and gas piping. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, wiring, and reading blueprints. Must have CT trade licenses (S1/S2/S10/D2) and at least 10 years of experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Knowledge of normal safety practices pertaining to the trade.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, flexible and team player.
• Good communication skills; written and verbal.
• Positive attitude with good organizational skills.
• Minimum 10 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Install geothermal, hydronic, radiant heating systems, hot water heaters, gas piping, snow melt, geo systems, and chiller systems.
• Set up boilers, hot water heaters, and gas piping, chillers and geo systems.
• Troubleshoot and wiring.
• Work with copper, PEX, black iron, and victaulic.
• Use tools like soldering, ProPress, fusion welding, and victaulic grooving.
• Read blueprints and create materials lists.
• Balance water systems and check for issues.
• Ensure work meets building codes.
• Help with project updates and work orders.
• Support the project team and report any issues.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.
