Job summary

PurgeRite is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and implement flushing solutions for complex hydronic systems across diverse industries. You will assess system designs, flushing and chemical treatment requirements, and site infrastructure to develop tailored solutions.

The role emphasizes strong communication with owners, contractors, and vendors, and requires delivering precise flush plans while driving project timelines and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• PE license or EIT certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Experience with hydronic systems and flushing plans.
• Proficient in interpreting construction drawings.
• Proficiency with design software (Revit/Navisworks, BlueBeam, Pipeflow, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Independently analyze complex hydronic systems to devise flushing strategies.
• Visit job sites to validate assumptions and build client relationships.
• Communicate with owners, general contractors, mechanical contractors, and chemical providers to align on goals.
• Perform required calculations and document detailed flush plans.
• Review flush plans with customers and obtain final agreement.
• Act as the primary technical contact for sales, operations, and customers.
• Review project feedback to drive continuous improvement of methods.
