Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. in Bagdad, Arizona is hiring for a leaching process operator to perform duties related to the leaching process and leach field construction in a safety‑sensitive, mine or manufacturing plant setting.

Candidate must have six months of trade experience and a High School diploma or GED, with English safety instruction. The role includes benefits such as medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO and opportunities for internal progression; shift work may be required in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in the trade.
• Ability to understand and follow safety-related instructions in English.
• Willingness to work a non-standard schedule in a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties related to the leaching process and leach field construction.
• Operates equipment such as loaders, forklifts, boom trucks, and UTVs.
• Performs loading, delivery and unloading of pipe and materials.
• Maintains area housekeeping and performs maintenance activities.
