Job summary

Geo-Logic Associates, Inc., through its John Shomaker & Associates, Inc. (JSAI) unit, seeks a Staff Hydrogeologist in Albuquerque, NM. The role supports water planning, environmental and groundwater projects, data collection, and modeling for NM and nearby states.

The candidate should have a professional demeanor to work with senior staff and clients, with duties spanning field data collection, analysis, mapping, database work, and report generation.

Qualifications

• BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, or water resource field.

Responsibilities

• Collection of field data related to well drilling, completion, development, and testing
• Collection of field data related to water sampling and monitoring projects
• Assist with hydrogeologic analysis of data using analytical methods, numerical models, and other methods
• Assist with field work related to environmental projects
• Geologic mapping and locating hydrologic features
• Development and maintenance of databases
• Assist with generation of technical reports
• Other duties as required or as assigned
