Job summary

HDR is seeking a Hydrogeologist to conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, design field studies, and manage data for diverse hydrology projects. You will draft technical memos and reports while collaborating with project teams in a dynamic, employee-owned environment.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Hydrology, Civil Engineering, Water Resources, or related field, with strong GIS and technical writing skills, plus fieldwork readiness and independent work

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Environmental Studies, Hydrology, Civil Engineering, Water Resources or closely related field.
Knowledge of and familiarity with technical evaluations and conceptual modeling.
Demonstrated basic working skills with GIS, Microsoft Excel and Word.
Total Station experience (GPS and associated software).
Strong technical writing skills are also necessary.
Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of task.
May require field work in remote areas.

Responsibilities

Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and modeling.
Help design and conduct field studies and be responsible for data collection, compilation and analysis for a variety of hydrology-related projects.
Draft technical memos or reports.
Perform other related duties as necessary.
