Job summary

The Foth Companies is seeking a team-focused Hydrogeologist/Hydrologist to contribute to environmental services projects across multiple Midwest office locations, including Minneapolis, MN and Duluth, MN. You will conduct field investigations, develop groundwater flow and transport models, and prepare technical reports to support permitting and site remediation while collaborating with engineers and scientists in a multidisciplinary environment.

Minimum qualifications include a B.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related engineering.
Professional experience performing hydrogeological/hydrologic investigations and modeling.
Proficiency in groundwater and surface water modeling tools (MODFLOW/MT3D, FEFLOW, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, XP-SWMM).

Responsibilities

Support hydrogeology and surface water hydrology projects.
Conduct field investigations including aquifer testing and discharge gauging.
Develop numerical groundwater flow and transport models for permitting and remediation.
Prepare technical reports and memos for natural resource development projects.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists.
