WIN Waste Innovations seeks an experienced Lead Hydrogen Sulfide Plant Operator to run and maintain the Hydrogen Sulfide Treatment Plant, ensuring compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

The role involves leading daily plant operator activities, training staff, collecting data, and coordinating with landfill operations to ensure plant and site success. Must be able to handle overtime and on-call rotations, with strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years landfill experience or technical skills certificate required.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in mechanical work and electrical diagnostics is required.
• Strong analytical problem-solving ability is essential.
• Experience using field testing equipment, meters, and sampling tools.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and drawings.
• PLC, SCADA, and other controls experience required.
• Experience with data entry in MS Excel.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of Hydrogen Plant Operators.
• Train operators on operating procedures.
• Conduct routine observations of operators.
• Complete incident reporting including investigations and root cause analyses.
• Collect samples and record data on control systems.
• Record and evaluate data to inform day-to-day operations.
• Maintain historical databases for readings.
• Use Tabware (CMMS) for work orders.
• Ensure preventive maintenance is done on schedule.
• Repair and maintain flare, plant controls, CEMS, and related systems.
• Respond to system malfunctions on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Collaborate with landfill operations and maintenance staff.
