Job summary

Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Hydrogen Technician at the Woodbine, GA plant. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance on facility equipment, troubleshoot and repair production machines, and ensure safety protocols are followed to keep the hydrogen plant running smoothly.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid license, and at least one year in manufacturing; Hazmat/Tanker certification eligibility is a plus. Strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing/production experience; filling/loading preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial equipment (pumps, compressors, valves).
• Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker certifications.
• Read and follow SOPs; strong communication and teamwork.
• Attention to detail with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to keep equipment operational.
• Document maintenance activities and keep records up to date.
• Coordinate with System Controls Operator on compressor operation.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test, and adjust equipment.
• Prepare high-pressure and cryogenic trailers for filling.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow procedures.
• Provide unscheduled repairs during production and schedule maintenance.
• Support quality and efficiency improvements; work in a team.
