Job summary

Messer in Santa Cruz, CA is seeking a Hydrogen Fueling Technician to ensure safe, reliable operation of our hydrogen fueling stations and supply facilities. You will perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance in line with local and national regulations.

The role requires climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, basic math and tool handling, and operating SAP for data and reports. Prior experience in industrial plants is preferred; valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• HSD with a technical certificate OR an Associate's degree OR recent military technical training is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of hydrogen fueling stations and customer facilities.
• Perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance.
• Lead and participate in safety procedures and contractor oversight.
• Maintain SAP records and logbooks.
• Coordinate shutdowns and start-ups of the H2 fueling systems.
