Job summary

Messer Americas in California is hiring a Hydrogen Fueling Technician to ensure safe, reliable operation of hydrogen fueling stations and customer supply facilities. You will perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance in compliance with local and national regulations.

Key duties include applying LOTO, leading shutdowns/startups, using SAP CMMS to document activities, and coordinating contractors.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina and ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Basic math and computer proficiency; ability to use simple hand tools.
• Experience operating forklift, overhead crane, or manlift; safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Apply LOTO, Hazardous Work Permit and energy isolation procedures.
• Lead shutdowns/startups of H2 fueling systems; oversee contractors.
• Troubleshoot process/equipment issues and identify maintenance needs.
• Document activities in SAP and electronic logbooks per procedure.
• Be available for call-in duty and overtime.
