Job summary

Hose Master LLC, a family-owned manufacturer of flexible metal hose and expansion joints, is seeking a Splicer to join our manufacturing team in the United States. This role will perform manual labor in support of the Hose Master production area, with cross-training across departments as needed.

The Splicer will set up machines, prepare hose ends, weld sections, inspect welds, test leaks, coil hoses, and ensure production rates are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• Good basic math skills.
• Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up machine according to pre-defined parameters
• Cut out non-conforming sections of Hose
• Trim and prep each hose end
• Weld 2 sections of hose together
• Perform visual quality inspection of welded area
• Perform required leak test
• Coil hose onto reel
• Meet production rates
• Handle other essential tasks as assigned
