Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Makes scheduled inspections of hydroelectric plant equipment and records readings.
• Starts up and shuts down hydroelectric generators as required; operates controls.
• Performs and documents regulatory inspections of plant and waterways.
• Reads turbine meters and records readings; responds to alarms and takes corrective action.
• Maintains plant buildings and equipment; performs minor repairs and adjustments.
• Assists in repairing and maintaining pumps, motors, and other machinery.
